    Directions

Oakwood House is in Oakwood, North-East Leeds, 1000m from Roundhay park. The building is next door to Lloyds-TSB Bank at the bottom of the row of shops. My office is above Somerfield supermarket. The entrance is at the side of the building next door to Lloyds-TSB Bank.

By Bus, from City Centre
Take the number 12 or 13 from New Briggate, diagonally opposite the Grand Theatre. Get off after two to three miles at Oakwood Clock.

By Bus, from Moortown or Chapel Allerton
Take the number 2 from Harrogate Road or Street Lane. Get off after two to three miles at Oakwood Clock.

By Bus, from Headingley
Either go into town and take the number 12 or 13 (see above), or get the 91 or 97 from Shaw Lane to the junction of Wetherby Road/Roundhay Road, and walk up Roundhay Road (away from the city centre) to Oakwood Clock (900m).

By car, from from Leeds City Centre
Go north out of the city centre along North Lane. Take the right fork marked 'Roundhay and Wetherby' into Roundhay Road. After one mile at the end of the long rows of shops stay in the left lane, continuing on Roundhay Road.(Do not take the right fork - A58 - to Wetherby.) After half a mile you will reach Oakwood (drive past Tesco on your left).
You can park behind Somerfields' supermarket for up to two hours. In practice, this two hour limit is not enforced by Somerfield: the security guard at the supermarket even advised me to ignore it. There is also a small carpark by Oakwood clock itself, and street parking nearby. Tesco’s free car park is 300m down the road (no restrictions).

By car, from the ring road north of Leeds, the A6120
Go to the junction of the A6120 and the A58. Turn onto the A58 towards Leeds. After half a mile turn right at the lights (marked 'Roundhay'). After a mile you will get to the crossroads at Oakwood Clock. Go straight on over the traffic lights.
