ONE-OFF GROUP: INTERPERSONAL HERE-AND-NOW GROUP

For co-counsellors only
Session 1: 2.00pm – 3.30pm
Break: 3.30pm – 4.00pm
Session 2: 4.00pm – 5.30pm
The group (8 – 12 people) will be peer-led
You are invited to attend this group for a unique experience in encounter with other individuals. The invitation is to stay as much as possible in the here and now, in order to maximize the opportunity for authentic meeting with others and with yourself.
Unlike the normal co-counselling contract, this group space offers the prospect of interpersonal meeting and process. Encounter with others invariably invokes feelings inside the self, and this space offers the chance to experience and reflect on these. This can make for considerable challenge and opportunity.
Ground rules: Please keep confidentiality, avoid violence to self, others and objects, and avoid arriving under the influence of non-prescribed drugs.
VENUE: Kristal’s yoga room in our house in Leeds, LS8 4HB. During the break we may use the kitchen, and there is a nice park nearby if you want to go for a short walk. I will supply beverages for the break.

WYCC Planning Meeting

We are meeting as above in order to make plans for the future of WYCC, and your input and involvement will be most welcome.

1. For this meeting, we elect a Chair and a Minutes Secretary.
2. We decide whether we want another Gathering. If yes, we agree on a venue for the next Gathering.
3. We agree on a venue for the next Gathering.
4. We change the name to WYNYCC (West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire Co-Counselling)
5. We agree on a way in which individuals may communicate with the whole group.
6. We decide whether to keep the website www.wycc.info
7. We have a new structure of posts within WYCC as follows

Job descriptions could look like this:
External Contact: have your name published within CCI, and respond to any enquiries from outside CCI that come your way.
Internal Contact: Manage the way we communicate within WYCC.
Membership Secretary: Manage and distribute the membership list. Ideally you are able to use a spreadsheet programme like Excel.
Website Manager: Manage the website (if we have one), hopefully in such a way that all members feel included.
Events Co-ordinator: Make sure that someone does the organisation and advertising of each event.
Treasurer: Look after the money.
Co-signatory for cheques: Sign the cheques.
8. We discuss attending a residential
If you have late items for the agenda you may bring them to the meeting and put them to the group there and then, if the group is happy with that.

This combines with a free taster for members of the public who are interested in co-counselling: they will be with us for the morning only. This is a chance for you to support the growth of our network.
